This morning a local expert will join you on a walking tour through the historical core of Dubrovnik, a World Heritage Site renowned for its beauty and history. You will explore the narrow, picturesque streets of the old town, highlighting landmarks such as the Franciscan monastery, the Sponza palace, and the Rector’s palace. As you stroll through the city, admire the city walls that encircle the old town and the main street, Stradun. After the tour there will be some leisure time to explore the old town on your own and soak in its atmosphere. In the evening take a short drive to a favorite local restaurant for a dinner of fish specialties.

Begin your day with a boat ride to Cavtat, a fishermen’s village and popular resort located south of Dubrovnik. As you sail along the coast, you will be treated to breathtaking views of the city’s ancient walls, the island of Lokrum, and the surrounding region. Upon reaching Cavtat explore the seaside promenade, visit the Vlaho Bukovac museum or climb to the top of the Račić family mausoleum, a powerful work of art crafted by the renowned sculptor Ivan Meštrović.
Afterwards head to the Konavle region, home to rolling hills, rich cultural heritage and a long history of wine production dating back to the ancient Greeks and Romans. You will visit “Dubrovački podrumi” or “Dubrovnik wine cellars,” where some of Croatia’s finest wines are produced. The region’s Mediterranean climate, fertile soils, and centuries of winemaking tradition create the perfect conditions for growing grapes. Taste some of their most refined wines. Lunch will also be served at the cellars. In the afternoon, you will return to the hotel, with the rest of the day at leisure.

STON, DINGAČ WINERY AND HVAR

Enjoy a scenic drive along the coast on your way to Ston, a town renowned for oysters, salt works, and one of the longest defensive walls in the world. After a brief visit, continue to the Dingač vineyards, located on a steep rocky slope of the Pelješac peninsula, overlooking the Adriatic Sea. Learn about the history of Dingač and taste its highly regarded wines made from the Plavac Mali grape variety (cross between Crljenak – ancestral Zinfandel and Dobričić grapes), known for producing full-bodied red wines with notes of ripe fruit and a hint of spice. Dingač wines have won numerous awards and accolades, and are sure to impress even the most discerning palate. Lunch of local specialties will be served at the estate.
Later, cross the impressive Pelješac Bridge towards the fertile plain of the Neretva River before arriving in Drvenik. From here, board a ferry to Sućuraj on the island of Hvar. Your journey will continue along the charming winding road to the town of Hvar, where you will spend two nights in the Hotel XX located in the old town. In the evening, dinner will be at a local restaurant.

Discover the historic Old Town of Hvar with a local expert in the morning. Visit one of the oldest public theaters in the world, St. Stephen’s Cathedral and bell tower, as well as the Benedictine monastery of St. John the Baptist, renowned for its stunning agave lace and inscribed on the Intangible Cultural Heritage list.
After the tour, take a scenic route to the village of Sveta Nedjelja and the Zlatan Otok winery. This esteemed winery produces highly regarded red and white wines, with their Tribidrag wine (also known as Zinfandel) being their standout varietal. Appreciate the beautiful setting and indulge in these top-quality wines and food.
Spend the rest of the day in Hvar and take time to explore the town on your own or relax.
DAY 6
ŠOLTA AND SPLIT

Experience the beauty of the wild and uninhabited island of Šolta with a private speedboat transfer. Adorned with intimidating, jagged cliffs, this island holds hidden coves and anchorages that have long been a well-kept secret among seasoned Croatian sailors. Disembark in Stračinska uvala and take a van to Gornje Selo, also known as “Upper Village.” Here, visit the Dobričić winery, which produces one of the most significant indigenous red wines in Dalmatia. This wine is made from the Crljenak Kaštelanski grape, also known as Zinfandel elsewhere, which has been crossbred with another variety to create the Plavac Mali grape, the most famous grape in Croatia.
Later take the transfer to the port of Rogač and board a ferry to Split. After a short walk, check into the Hotel Jupiter, a 4-star property located in the heart of the Diocletian Palace. In the evening, enjoy dinner in the Old Town.
DAY 7
SPLIT

This morning, join a local expert for a walk through the Old Town of Split, a veritable treasure trove of Roman-era monuments, including the Emperor Diocletian Palace, a World Heritage site, the cathedral and the Temple of Jupiter. The emperor had the palace built at the turn of the 4th century as his residence, and the town was gradually built up around it in the following centuries.
After the tour, drive to the nearby town Kaštela, the home of Crljenak Kaštelanski or Zinfandel. Here, visit the Bedalov winery located in Kaštel Kambelovac. The Bedalov winery is specialized in red wine varietals, particularly Zinfandel and Plavac Mali made from the Crljenak Kaštelanski grape grown in the ecological environment of indigenous vine sorts. Learn more about these unique wines from Jakša Bedalov, a renowned Zinfandel expert and owner of the winery. Afterwards enjoy a lunch at the Bedalov estate.
After the lunch, return to Split and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

ŠIBENIK

Today the coastal road will take you to Šibenik, home to a number of historical landmarks, including the stunning Cathedral of St. James, a World Heritage Site and a masterpiece of Gothic and Renaissance architecture. During your visit accompanied by a local expert, explore the cathedral and marvel at its ornate details and impressive design. You will also have the chance to wander through the old town, relax and sense the Mediterranean atmosphere.
After exploring Šibenik, drive to the Rak winery, known for growing and producing wine of indigenous variety – Babić, found mostly in Šibenik – Knin county. Some scientists suggest that Babić and Dobričić are close relatives. taste some of the smooth Rak wines and savor the local food afterwards.
Continue your journey to the mountainous Lika region, crossing the impressive Velebit massif. Hotel Plitvice Fenomen, a 4-star hidden gem located just a few minutes away from the Plitvice Lakes National Park will be your home for the night. In the evening, dinner will be served at the hotel restaurant.
DAY 9
NATIONAL PARK PLITVICE LAKES AND OPATIJA

In the morning take a short drive to the breathtaking Plitvice Lakes National Park, one of the most famous national parks in Europe and a World Heritage Site. Covering an area of approximately 115 square miles, this park is home to a stunning array of forests, crystal clear lakes, and numerous waterfalls. During the visit, explore the park’s most attractive areas on foot and by electric boat.
After the walk, relax over lunch in a nearby restaurant, and then continue to Opatija, a seaside resort that was once a favorite destination of the Habsburgs. Renowned for its beautiful villas, lush greenery and a 6-mile-long coastal promenade – lungomare, Opatija is known for its mild climate and sophisticated atmosphere. Check in to the Hotel Bevanda, a 5-star property located on the seafront just a minute walk from the famous promenade and the Angiolina Park. The hotel boasts one of the best fish restaurants in the country, where you will enjoy dinner in the evening.

MOTOVUN AND ROVINJ

Your destination today is the largest peninsula in Croatia – Istra. Drive through the tunnel of Učka and the green inlands to the foot of the Motovun hill, known for its lush oak forests and picturesque vineyards. Join a local expert on a stroll through Motovun, a charming hilltop town with narrow streets winding between Romanesque, Gothic, and Renaissance houses and monuments. During the tour taste some of the region’s well known truffle products and olive oil. Take some time to explore the town on your own.
Later continue to the Roxanich winery, located at the foot of the Motovun hill. The winery is run by Mr. Rožanić, a disciple of Rhône Valley winemakers. Rožanić travelled the world to learn from different houses before finally settling back in his native Istra. Taste some of their flavourful wines followed by lunch prepared from local ingredients.
After lunch visit Rovinj, nestled on the Adriatic coast, known for cobblestone laneways, a maze of red-tile roofs, colorful houses and unique appearance. Wander through the picturesque alleys, feel the artistic vibe, admire the rich cultural heritage and visit the church of St. Euphemia set on top of the hill, offering the best views on the surroundings and the Rovinj archipelago.
Return to Opatija where the remainder of the day is free for your activities.

Ljubljana is the capital and largest city of Slovenia. Originally a Roman settlement called Emona, Ljubljana came under the control of the Habsburgs in 1335 and became a cultural and economical centre for Slovenians. Habsburg rule was interrupted only during Napoleon, between 1809-1813 when Ljubljana became the capital of the French Illyrian Provinces. Multiple earthquakes changed the appearance of the Slovenian capital. The most devastating one struck in 1895, but the reconstruction gave Ljubljana its present neoclassical and Art Nouveau appearance. The architect who contributed the most to the charm of the capital was Jože Plečnik who built the Triple Bridge, the National and University Library, the covered market buildings and many more.

This morning you are headed to Bled Lake, a picture-postcard symbol of Slovenia. Visit the 11th century Bled castle, perched on a 420-foot cliff offering gorgeous views of the lake and the Julian Alps. Take the Pletna boat to the tear-shaped Bled island, visit the church of Our Lady of the Lake and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere.
Later head towards the lake Bohinj region. We will visit the winery XXX – KOJU VINARIJU SI SPOMENUO OVDJE?
This evening, gather over farewell dinner at one of the most renowned restaurants in the capital.

Take the cable car to Mount Srđ
Srđ sits at 412-metre (1,352 ft) elevation. It is located just behind the Old Town, a perfect spot to get a bird’s eye view of the surrounding landscape and Dubrovnik ’s red rooftops. At the top of mount Srđ stands Fort Imperial, a defensive structure built by the French during the Napoleonic Wars. There is also a museum dedicated to the Homeland war. The mountain became a popular destination for its splendid views and a very good restaurant.
Discover the island of Lokrum
Lokrum is a small island located just off the coast of Dubrovnik. It stretches from northwest to southeast and receives regular ferry service from the Old City port. The most popular attractions on Lokrum are the 16th century Fort Royal, a saltwater lake, over 500 species of plants and nice walking trails.
Split
Visit the Meštrović museum
The Meštrović Museum in Split is a true gem for art enthusiasts. Housed in the former home and studio of Ivan Meštrović, one of the most renowned Croatian artists of the early 20th century, the museum offers a unique opportunity to see the artist’s stunning sculptures, paintings and drawings. From marble and bronze masterpieces to delicate plaster and wood carvings, the museum’s collection showcases Meštrović’s diverse range of artistic skills. Climb the Marjan Hill

Today, the site of Salona is home to a number of historical and cultural attractions, including the ruins of the city’s amphitheatre built in the 2nd century AD. With a capacity of around 20,000 spectators, it was one of the largest in the Roman Empire, used for a variety of events including gladiator games and performances. There are also temples, baths, early Christian churches and monasteries.
